Hey, it’s Tyler!
Profound Boredom is built on one core belief: the deepest human truths lie in the stillest moments, the most human moments, in the real world, not the digital world.
As AI and technology force everyone to ask what makes us human and what is worth keeping, this project makes noise around this question. It celebrates real things, real people, and craft, and hands people philosophy they can use to make sense of their own lives.
It is a public learning process, radically honest and authentic, championing empathy, humility, and human optimism. It tells of humanity’s beauty and suffering, and the pride we should take in it. We are humbled by how little we can know, but we try for knowledge anyway.
Welcome to Profound Boredom.
